★★★★★ An intriguing twist comes at the end of this exciting fantasy romance, though I think we probably got a hint in the Power of Love Series and I’d simply forgotten a few character names. However, it was fun learning about the lineage behind a certain favorite character. As a new kingdom is created, Anna and Ryan assume the responsibility of ruling, and the challenges intensify with the oncoming war. Love is the driving force as two people who would do anything to protect each other and their family are put to the ultimate test. King Ryan is sweet and noble and would make any woman a very proud husband. But Anna is his love. His patience may be tried by the battle but his spirit never dies. It was exciting getting another piece of the puzzle in Diana Rose’s magical universe. I’m eager to see what romantic adventures this new series will bring.
