★ ★ ★ Great dialogue, good writing. Not what I was expecting but I did enjoy this short erotic romance. Pepper is Derek’s assistant. That’s pretty much all we’re told – we jump right into the fire. Roxy Rush knows how to write steamy, and that’s all we get for a while, actually for almost the entire book. There isn’t much of a plot, or conflict, though things get interesting when a jealous ex and shareholders in Derek’s firm take a stand against this scandalous affair. I won’t give away the punchline, but I can tell you I laughed out loud, hard. That was my favorite party of After Hours, so crazy, really funny. If you like erotic romance, this is worth a read. It will definitely hold your attention for a night or two.
