He comes into Melissa’s life in the craziest way, and while she doesn’t know it or even want a relationship, this man is exactly what she needs. It’s so heartwarming the night they meet and she sees he’s wearing a Star of David, honestly it was my favorite part of the story. Their connection is instant, and it begins right there – you feel it through all of Melissa’s denial and you’re rooting for love to win out. Sergei is kind but confident and he pushes gently, just enough to make Melissa see they’re meant to be. This story reads like real life with lots of quirky details and that once in a lifetime romance we dream about. It’s one hot Hannukah…and happiness forever more.
